Request for Bids for the Rehabilitation of Mountain Creek Watershed, Flood Retarding Structure No. 10 in Ellis County

Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work required for the rehabilitation of Mountain Creek Watershed, Flood Retarding Structure No. 10 will be received until 9:00 a.m. CST on February 27, 2014 at the Dalworth Soil and Water Conservation District office located at 320 Westway Place, Suite 511, Arlington, Texas, 76018. Bids must be to the attention of Bobby Waddle, Chairman, Dalworth Soil and Water Conservation District. Any bids received later than 9:00 a.m. CST on February 27, 2014 will not be accepted.

A pre-bid conference will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the City of Midlothian Council Chambers which are located at 104 West Avenue E, Midlothian, Texas, 76065. A site visit will be conducted immediately following the conference. Attendance is not mandatory, but is highly encouraged for all prospective bidders.

All bids require a bid guarantee in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit payment and performance bonds within five business days after receipt of the Notice of Award. The Dalworth Soil and Water Conservation District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Electronic, telegraphic, or facsimile (faxed) bids, modifications, or withdrawals are not authorized.
