SWCD Director & Employee Workshop

Overview

Each year the TSSWCB and the ATSWCD hosts a SWCD Director & Employee Workshop for new and current Soil and Water Conservation District Directors and employees, as well as USDA-Natural Resource Conservation Service employees. The workshop is intended to educate participants on policies, conservation programs, resources and a variety of other topics that help lay the foundation for a successful Soil and Water Conservation District. The 2026 conference will be held April 28-29, 2026 at the Mayborn Convention Center in Temple, Texas.

Registration opened January 6th and will close April 7th.

Tentative Schedule

• Tuesday, April 28th
  • 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Workshop
• Wednesday, April 29th
  • 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  Workshop

A light breakfast and lunch will be included for Tuesday and a light breakfast on Wednesday for registered attendees.
