National Association of Conservation Districts Grant

Overview

This partnership has been made possible by a grant from the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) through the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB). These agencies are working together in an effort with Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) to further enhance five conservation districts ability to provide technical assistance across Texas. High priority locations were identified through coordination with conservation partners for the most efficient allocation of funds. Projects have been initiated in Lubbock County SWCD #108, Howard SWCD #243, Starr County SWCD #332, Red River SWCD #423, and Hill County-Blackland SWCD #540.
