Project Overview:
The Wilbarger Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) (#537) will administer a feral swine trap loan program in coordination with Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB), Texas Wildlife Damage Management Association (TWDMA), United States Department of Agriculture-Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS), and Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute (NRI) to provide feral swine traps to landowners for the control of feral swine within the Upper Red River Watershed, which encompasses Hardeman, Wilbarger, Wichita, and Clay Counties.
